I've been coming here for years, and honestly didn't know the name of this spot until pretty recently because it's always just been "the taco truck".
AMBIANCE
It's a literal bus that's been gutted out and turned into a cute little Mexican restaurant. I've honestly never ordered anything other than the tacos, but it all looks pretty solid. There's an outside seating area, but I usually just go with takeout. Not the prettiest place, but no one goes for the ambiance.
FOOD
This is where it shines. I get the tacos every single time, so I can only speak on that. I think their carnitas is the best in the city by far. They throw the pork onto the flat top right before so the outside crisps up, but retains a lot of the juice of a traditional carnitas taco. The chicken and beef are great too, but I usually just get those for variety reasons. The carnitas is honestly the way to go.
There's a nice toppings bar inside with pickled onions, radish, salsas, etc.
OVERALL
Don't shy away because it might not be the prettiest place, this is the spot for tacos in Seattle. The carnitas are the game changer. Cash only so you know it's real. -

This is a go to neighborhood spot for my gf and I. We honestly probably go once a week as the food is very affordable and very tasty. In my opinion their two best meats are the shredded beef and the carnitas. I love to get them in the form of mulitas or gorditas or I often get the carnitas platter where I just get lots of pork with some accoutrements. If you are in the Columbia City area you should definitely check out their great food!

This is literally an old bus turned into a food truck type of place. I ordered 2 Al Pastor Tacos ($2 each) and a Carne Asada Burrito ($7.50). Cash only, but no additional tax added! The Al Pastor was good, but definitely not the best I've had. I also was hoping they would give a little more meat for $2. I didn't see a salsa bar or any extra onions/cilantro/lime that customers could grab for themselves. The Carne Asada Burrito was a really good size for what it cost and very filling too. It was very meaty and decently juicy. It did feel a little dry at times so I had to pour some salsa on it. The salsa they gave me was great! The burrito is also very simple, just meat, rice, beans, cheese I think. If they added some avocado or pico de gallo it would've been a big difference. I would probably return for the burritos if I needed a cheap/quick meal.

I LOVE this place. I probably come here 2-3 times a month. It is so affordable and delicious. I love getting their chimichanga especially because it comes with rice and beans. I always have left overs for the next day too! I hope it never leaves :)
